So this is cool, and I’ve found that many people aren’t aware of this, but if you work on a Mac laptop with an external display, you can close your laptop’s screen and keep working. A lot of people do this to conserve space and still be able to work on a larger attached monitor — the whole thing just takes up less space…
Of course, this requires that you connect an external keyboard and mouse or trackpad…and by the way, Apple also recommends putting the Mac to sleep before disconnecting the external display. (Just good practice!)
Give it try sometime – it’s pretty neat.
